ADM Tigers

The Iowa Department of Education recently released the 2016-17 statewide school report cards, and the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District received good scores at every level.

ADM High School and Middle School both received “Commendable” ratings, while DeSoto Intermediate School was rated “Acceptable.” Adel Elementary didn’t receive an overall rating, but did receive very high marks for attendance, staff retention, and teacher surveys. The intermediate, middle, and high schools each received high marks in those categories as well. Additionally, they had high scores in proficiency, which describes a school’s success at meeting benchmarks in reading and math, as well as college and career readiness.

An area of improvement for each school was in closing the achievement gap for minority students. To see detailed report cards for the ADM schools, click the link below.
