The Panorama boys basketball team dropped an away game in overtime to Woodward-Granger Tuesday night.

The 71-65 result was another hard-fought and narrow loss for a struggling Panthers unit. At halftime, the game was tied 34-34.
The Panthers showed heart at the end of regulation. They trailed 58-52 with four minutes left in the game, but were able to make a come back to force overtime. Unfortunately, the effort was not enough. In overtime, Woodward-Granger outscored Panorama 10-5 and took a well-earned victory.

A huge second half from Keith Braunschweig was one of the things that put Woodward Granger over the top. Braunschweig ended the game with 21 points and led all scorers. Also finishing in double digits for the home side was Bryce Achenbach with 17 points and Noah Hoyt with 11 points.

The Panthers offense spread the ball around evenly. Jacob Merschman and Gracen Welberg led Panorama with 13 points apiece, while Zac Rizzuti scored 11 points.Fouls were a killer all night for the Panthers, who racked up 34 team fouls to Woodward Grangers 19. Panoramas foul trouble led to 28 points for Woodward-Granger from the charity stripe. The loss knocks the Panthers down to 1-7. Woodward-Granger moves to 6-3 on the season
