Earlier this month, the Empowering Adair County Foundation (EACF) selected recipients for their most recent grant cycle. Among the winning entities were: Adair County Iowa State University Extension, the Adair County Fair Foundation, Adair County Farm Bureau Federation, Adair County Health Foundation, the Adair County Historical Society, the Adair Public Library Board of Trustees, Boys and Girls Club of Central Southwest Iowa, the Casey Historical Society, and the Stuart Library Foundation.
Over $113,000 was dispersed to fifteen worthwhile projects that benefit Adair County. Preference for these grants are given to organizations that promote tourism, public services, economic well-being, and other facets.
