Midwest Partnership, a non-profit business development organization, holds its Annual Dinner Meeting every January. The organization presents two awards that honor the achievements of leaders in economic development and entrepreneurship.
The Guy Powell Award is presented to someone with vision, leadership, and courage, and has impacted the community, especially in economic development and vitality. The Entrepreneur of the Year Award is presented to an individual or business that has accomplished a particular success in the past year. This success can be measured in increased sales, securing a large contract or expansion, developing an innovative process, or greatly impacting the local community. Kathy and Ben Puck are the most recent recipients of the Guy Powell Award and Chad and Meg Gleason won the Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the 2017 Annual Dinner.
Midwest Partnership is now accepting nominations for both awards. The dinner is scheduled for Thursday, January 25th at the Lake Panorama National Resort and Conference Center. For more information, visit Midwest Partnership’s website.
