The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today.
Stuart Public Library Director Lisa Sherman will present the Guthrie County Library annual report and a request for fiscal year 2018-2019 funding. The Board will then canvass the results for the recount elections in both Guthrie Center City Council offices as well as Jamaica’s City Council race. There were no changes as a result of the recounts. The Board will then consider for approval a Tax Increment Financing (TIF) advance request and review the county’s new personnel policy with County Engineer Josh Sebern and a representative from Ahlers & Cooney, P.C.
There will also be a possible closed session for the Board to consider applicants for the hiring of the county’s facilities manager. Additionally, the Board will consider the following for approval: the Iowa Insurance Division settlement with Mutual Med Insurance Services, LLC and Todd Vershaw; an update to the Guthrie County Major Medical Plan; the mutual casualty company governmental subdivision prior acts questionnaire; and purchasing used laptops for e-poll books.
The meeting begins at 9am in the Supervisors’ Room in the Guthrie County Courthouse.
