ADM Tigers

It’s a rare Tuesday night off for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers basketball teams tonight. Both squads will use the evening off to continue working on fundamental skills ahead of competition later this week. The ADM boys basketball team will return to the court Thursday, traveling to Alleman for a nonconference game against the North Polk Comets. The Tigers bring a 1-1 overall record into the matchup with the Comets, defeating Pella Christian (65-63) last Tuesday at home and lost to Ballard Friday (57-52) in Huxley. Junior Koby Hardcastle and senior Dalton Hews are averaging a team-best 14 points per game for the Tigers.

The ADM girls basketball team has a full week off before their next game this Friday against the Winterset Huskies. The Tigers are still searching for their first victory of the season. Their latest setback came Friday in Huxley, falling the Ballard Bombers (1-2), 47-28. Emma Jacobsen scored a season-high 14 points, including four made three-point shots, in the loss.
