The Jefferson City Council met Tuesday night in regular session.
The Council approved the third change order of $41,990 to Pinnacle Construction for additional work on the Community Development Block Grant Downtown Revitalization Project, along with a sixth pay estimate of $138,812 to the contractor for completed work on the project. Additionally, the Council approved additional structural engineering fees of $13,191 toward the downtown project. The Council also approved to renew the premiums with the City’s current health insurance carrier with Wellmark. The overall increase in rates is six-percent. A single plan increases from $524 to $554 and a family plan also goes up from $1,196 to $1,273.
The Council also reviewed the first financial report for the first quarter and tabled the plat of survey for Greene County Development Corporation, due to documents not being completed.
Finally, the Council heard a quarterly report from Jefferson Matters: Main Street.
