The top offensive player on this year’s Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers volleyball team (23-12 overall) continues to gather postseason honors. The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union released the 2017 All-State Volleyball teams for all classes on Wednesday, and ADM senior Sami Schepers found her name on Class 4A’s second team all-state squad. Schepers other postseason awards include a unanimous first-team All-Raccoon River Conference selection and being named to Class 4A All-West District team. Schepers closed her high school volleyball career with 353 kills, the third most recorded in the Raccoon River Conference. She recorded 20 or more kills in four matches this fall, including both of her team’s postseason contests. The 2017 ADM volleyball team finished the season with a 23-12 overall record. Schepers is one of six seniors volleyball players expected to graduate in May.
