It’s another busy week for Raccoon Valley Radio’s Caring Christmas Food Drives with several happening in Guthrie County. On Monday from 3-5pm, RVR’s Big Red Radio will be at Hometown Foods in Panora. The Big Red Radio will be in Guthrie Center on Thursday at Hometown Foods from 4-6pm.

At each food drive, non-perishable food items are donated to that community’s food pantry. As a “thank you” to those who donate, those who provide non-perishable food items during the drive will have their name entered into a drawing to win $1,000 as part of our Christmas Cash Giveaway. During our remote broadcasts, Big Red Radio will be there playing live music and giving updates.

The drives will also continue in Greene and Dallas counties next week. The Lil’ Big Red Radio will be at Tech Zone from 1-3pm and the Jefferson HyVee from 3:30-5:30pm on Friday. Lil’ Big Red will also make its way to Veteran Power Sports in De Soto on Friday from 10am-noon. On Saturday you can see the Big Red Radio at Adel Winterset TV & Appliance in Adel from 3-6pm and Perry Hy-Vee from 10am-noon.
