With the Thanksgiving holiday, several entities in Dallas County are closed today and tomorrow.

In Perry, the City offices, water works, public library, and McCreary Community Building are all closed both days. The Adel City Hall and public library will also be closed today and tomorrow, as will all Dallas County offices, including the Department of Motor Vehicles and the driver’s license station. Additionally, there will be no school in the Perry and Adel-DeSoto-Minburn districts either day. The post offices and all banking institutions will be closed throughout today, but will be open tomorrow.

Finally, in Perry there will be no garbage or recycling pick-ups today and tomorrow, and the Adel garbage collection will be delayed by one day for both days.
