A Scranton woman faces felony charges for fraudulently using a company credit card of a former employer.
Jefferson Police Captain Heath Enns says 54-year-old Crystal Kay Conroy faces charges of a Class B Felony for ongoing criminal conduct and a Class C Felony for credit card fraud. The investigation started on April 24th, after an employee at Rasmussen Law Office discovered suspected credit card transactions on a financial report.
Enns notes that Conroy allegedly charged over $20,000 on a company credit card and had 377 personal transactions from July 28, 2015 until her termination with the company on April 3, 2017. Some of the transactions included: various online purchases, bowling alley, paying for her electric and water bills in Scranton and other items. Conroy no longer works at Rasmussen Law Office.
The arrest warrants have been issued and once Conroy is apprehended, she will be booked into the Greene County jail.
