Keep Iowa Beautiful’s 8th Photography Contest is currently accepting entries.

The contest encourages entrants to take a photo of their favorite place in Iowa that highlights the state’s rural and urban beauty. The contest is open to all levels of experience and entries must be submitted by December 15th. Entries are $5 each and must be submitted electronically as a high resolution JPEG image.

First and second place finishers will receive a cash prize and a one-year subscription to Pioneer Publishing’s “The Iowan Magazine”. Photos and winners names will be featured in the KIB newsletter, as well as posted on their Facebook page and website. KIB was founded in 2000 to bring cultural and economic vitality into Iowa communities through improvement and enhancement programs.
