The first wrestling competition is still nearly two weeks away for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers and first-year head coach Chris Hatchitt. However, the roster for the 2017-18 season is out and features several returners with moderate varsity match experience. ADM’s varsity roster features 19 athletes, eight who represented the Tigers in the Class 2A Section 5 tournament last February. ADM has two returning state qualifiers going through preseason practice in juniors Andrew Flora and Nolan Harsh. Flora placed fourth in the Class 2A 106 pound tournament in February, while Harsh was eliminated before the medal round in the 138 pound bracket. The 2017-18 ADM wrestling season begins November 28 at home against Ballard and North Polk in dual action.
