The annual Raccoon Valley Radio Caring Christmas Food Drive kicks off this week, and the Big Red Radio will be visiting four locations in the listening area.

We’ll be at the Adel Fareway on Wednesday from 3-5 p.m., the Perry Fareway and the Jefferson Hy-Vee on Friday from 3-5 p.m., and finally the Perry Hy-Vee on Saturday from 10 a.m. – noon. Each year, RVR helps restock the local food shelves during one of their busiest times. The Big Red Radio will be out at several locations throughout the season to collect non-perishable food items, and broadcast live. As an added incentive, anyone who donates to the food drive will be entered for a chance to win $1,000 from Raccoon Valley Radio’s Christmas Cash drawing.
