The Adair County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will be hosting a bake sale this weekend to raise money for scholarship funds. The sale is this Saturday from 9-11 am at Shopko in Greenfield.
The funds raised from the bake sale go towards $1,000 scholarships for individuals pursuing medical careers. Adair County Health System Foundation Director Tiffany Johnson also sees the assortment of goods as another way to benefit your holiday meal plans. “They make things that range from rolls, to cakes, to cookies, pies, everything you could imagine. It’s a great way to stock up. You can stick some of that in your freezer for your Thanksgiving dinner the next weekend.”
The Auxiliary meets every other month with a short meeting, meal, and a guest speaker from the hospital. The next event features a luncheon and tour of trees next month. For more information, listen to Johnson on tomorrow’s Let’s Talk Guthrie County program.
