Those looking for holiday deals are encouraged to take advantage of a special Greene County Chamber and Tourism promotion.

Tourism and Events Coordinator Michael Reese says November 9th through the 11th is the Chamber’s annual Browse Weekend. Anyone can stop into any participating Chamber member businesses and pick up a holiday coupon that is valid through December 24th to help ease the stress of holiday shopping. Reese points out that it’s a great way to shop local during the holidays.

“That’s one of the nice things about with being a Chamber is that you almost have your own ‘currency’ and with that, you can keep local dollars local and make sure that money stays in our community.”
