A deputy investigated a theft at Sand and Butler Street, Churdan.
A deputy removed a deer from the roadway west of I Avenue on 220th Street.
A deputy picked up a purse that was found on the side of the road on V Avenue near Grand Junction.
A deputy dispatched an injured deer at D Avenue and 220th Street.
A deputy picked up a stray dog in the 500 block of State Street, Scranton.
Friday, November 3rd
The Sheriff assisted a motorist on N Avenue and 180th Street.
A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on U Avenue near Rippey.
Erick Johnson 46 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for theft 1st degree and Dependent adult abuse-exploitation over 100 dollars.
A deputy investigated a two-car accident on I Avenue near 150th Street. Mark Morrow 57 of Carson fell asleep in a 1999 Olds Alero that was totaled in the accident and struck Kenneth Schmitt 58 of Carroll in his 2011 Chevrolet Silverado. There was 2500 dollars damage to the truck.
Mark Morrow was booked into the jail for driving while barred and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Saturday, November 4th
A deputy investigated a burglary to the Sparky’s in Churdan. The Sheriff and deputies along with Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, Sac County Sheriff’s Office, and Lake City Police Department conducted a search warrant 110 West View Street in Lake City and recovered some of the property. A Second search warrant was conducted by the Sheriff, Carroll County, and Carroll Police Department on the vehicle was used in the burglary and more of the stolen property was recovered along with a stolen handgun. There was two Juvenile males arrested in connection with the burglary in Greene County and burglaries in Sac County.
A deputy investigated two suspicious people on 257th Street and N Avenue.
Ryan Brown was booked into the jail for Contempt of Court.
The Sheriff and K-9 assisted the Boone County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Natural Resources with a search warrant in Boxholm.
A deputy assisted DHS with a removal in the 500 block of North Locust Street, Jefferson.
Sunday, November 5th
Jesse Seyler 26 of Carroll was booked into the jail for operating while intoxicated and driving while license revoked.
Kelsey Badding 37 of Carroll was booked into the jail for Operating while intoxicated 1st offense and failure to dim headlights.
A deputy investigated a dog bite that occurred in the 700 block of Railroad Street, Grand Junction.
A deputy investigated a car stuck on the railroad tracks in Grand Junction.
A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of West Percival Street, Rippey.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
