The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.
The meeting will kick off with consideration of resolutions directing the sale of $8.2 million in general obligation capital loan notes, as well as accepting a proposal to purchase $1.5 million in general obligation refunding capital loan notes. Both resolutions relate to money to be used for the new law enforcement center. They will then have discussion and possible action regarding agreements for a highway safety improvement program and surface transportation program for County Road F-25.
At 9:30 a.m. there will be a public hearing regarding an amendment to the 2018 fiscal year budget. A second public hearing will be held at 10 relating to the first reading of the county’s pioneer cemetery ordinance. Other items on the agenda include: discussion on a county phone system replacement agreement; a property tax suspension; an operating transfer; and discussion on the 2020 census. The meeting will conclude with an exempt session for negotiations strategy.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 9 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in Adel.
