Iowa high school girls regional swimming meets were held on Saturday around the state. Boone went to Johnston and finished sixth among nine teams with 132 points. Ames won the team title with 583.

Coach Chris Mann reports no State qualifiers for the Toreadors. Several Greene County High School students swim for Boone under an athletic sharing agreement.

Listed below are the Greene County students and they events that placed in the top 16 and scored team points.

Megan Doran- 200 medley relay, 5th, 1:56.05; 100 butterfly, 15th, 1:08.73; 200 freestyle relay, 6th, 1:45.55; 400 freestyle relay, 6th, 3:57.99.

Ellie Madson- 400 freestyle relay, 6th, 4:57.99; 500 freestyle, 15th, 6:10.50; 200 freestyle, 15th, 2:15.08.

Julia Saul- 200 freestyle, 12th, 2:11.88.
