A Jefferson man faces a felony charge for an alleged domestic abuse incident.

Police Chief Mark Clouse says officers responded to the incident at 10:13pm Sunday, October 15th in the 900 block of North Pinet Street. Clouse notes that the victim had physical marks around her neck that corroborated with the domestic abuse incident. Officers then arrested 27-year-old Marcus Larry Lamarr Cannon and charged him with a Class D Felony for domestic abuse assault impeding airflow and/or blood flow.

Cannon was booked into the Greene County jail and was released on Monday.
