The Jefferson Kiwanis Club is hosting their 45th annual pancake breakfast and silent auction event later this month.

New this year is that all of the silent auction items are now online on the organization’s Facebook page. Anyone can go on their Facebook page, click on an item and enter a bid amount in the comment section. Some items have minimum bids, some do not. Bidders can leave their contact information along with their bid, or a Kiwanis member will contact the winning bidder by Facebook messenger.

Some of the silent auction items include: restaurant gift certificates, home baked goods like cookies, homemade meals like a spaghetti dinner for eight to ten people, a professional security system and other service items like cleaning areas of a home. Bidding is open now.

The pancake breakfast will take place from 6 to 11am on October 28th at the Jefferson Elks Lodge. It is $7 for adults and those ages ten and under are $2. Plus, there is a special rate of $25 for a table of five, which is presale only. The breakfast includes: all-you-can-eat pancakes with toppings and syrup, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage links and beverages.
