The final course in the Perry Public Library’s Home Maintenance 101 series will be held this Monday.
The program is co-sponsored by the library, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, and Dallas County Habitat for Humanity. The series is designed to help homeowners maintain their properties by offering practical advice for do-it-yourself projects. The focus of the October program is using solar energy in the home. Extension experts and others who have experience and success using solar to power their homes will discuss how they make it work. They will also go over the costs involved, and payment options for solar installations.
Home Maintenance 101 will be held Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the library. There is no cost for the event and registration isn’t required, though the library would appreciate it if attendees let them know. For more information, call 515-465-3569.
