The West Central Valley School Board will meet in regular session tonight.

The Board will select the search firm to determine the next superintendent. At a special session earlier this month, the newly elected Board heard presentations from Dr. Gaylord Tryon and Associates and Dr. Grundmeyer Leader Group. Both groups have distinct advantages and disadvantages, but outgoing Superintendent Dr. David Arnold feels there’s no wrong choice for the Board. “Both firms are highly qualified and they’re good groups to work with. It’s just up to the Board to decide which is the best fit for them at this time.”

Other topics at tonight’s meeting will include: a presentation regarding the school science fair, approving tag robotics as an official activity, 2017-2018 certified enrollment and subsequent budget impact, and other various reports and action items. The meeting begins at 7 pm in the Dexter Elementary Library.
