David Kilts of 1106 Ash St., Dallas Center reported that his truck had been broken into while parked in his driveway. Several items were missing.

Diane Chinberg of Perry reported that her van had broken down in the 16000 block of Highway 141 and while parked on the side of the roadway waiting until it was able to get towed someone had taken several pieces of clothing and personal items from the van.

William Judson Mabuce of West Des Moines reported that his enclosed trailer that was parked at 26416 289th Pl., Adel had been broken into and a few things had been taken.

Dennis Bierbaum of Waukee reported that three of his Bierbaum Electric vans had opened doors and broken windows. Nothing of value had been taken. The van was parked at 26416 289th Pl., Adel.

Adin Delic of Adel reported the theft of his cargo van and several tools that were in it while parked at 26416 289th Pl., Adel.

Sandra Gannon of 701 Circle Dr., Dallas Center reported the theft of several items from her vehicle that had been parked inside her garage.

Russ Clarken of Adel reported the theft of several items from two of his cargo trucks and the enclosed trailers while parked at 26416 289th Pl., Adel.

Jordan Haas of West Des Moines was at the intersection of State St and the 19000 block of Highway 141 when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Kara Heard of Woodward. Hass was checked out by the Granger EMS. Damage to Heard’s vehicle estimated at $7000.00 and $5000.00 to Haas’s. Heard was cited for failure to yield upon making a left turn.

Bradley Sparks of Prairie City was traveling in the 19000 block of W Ave., when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $2000.00.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
