Trial dates have been set for most of the suspects in the death of Sabrina Ray.

According to court documents, 41-year-old Marc Ray, 40 year-old Misty Ray, 21-year-old Justin Ray and 62-year-old Carla Bousman are all scheduled to have their trials start on January 29, 2018. Court documents also show that the fifth suspect, 20-year-old Josie Bousman has agreed to testify for the state and her trial will be done separately, after the other four suspects have concluded their trials. Josie’s trial is scheduled to start on March 26, 2018.

The five individuals are accused and face multiple charges in the death investigation of 16-year-old Sabrina Ray, who was found dead in Marc and Misty’s home in Perry on May 12th. The State Medical Examiner determined that Sabrina died from malnutrition.

Court documents show that Marc and Misty Ray have to file an arraignment response to their new charges of a Class A Felony for first degree murder by no later than October 27th. The charges were added to the two suspects earlier this month.

41-year-old Marc Ray is being charged on 14 counts, including: one count of first degree murder, a class A felony; three counts of kidnapping in the first degree, a class A felony; one count of child endangerment resulting in death, a class B felony; one count of second degree sexual abuse, a class B felony; four counts of child endangerment resulting in serious injury, a class C felony; three counts of neglect or abandonment of a dependent person, a class C felony; and one count of third degree sexual abuse, a class C felony.

 

 

 

40-year-old Misty Ray is being charged on 12 counts, including: one count of first degree murder, a class A felony; three counts of kidnapping in the first degree, a class A felony; one count of child endangerment resulting in death, a class B felony; four counts of child endangerment resulting in serious injury, a class C felony; and three counts of neglect or abandonment of a dependent person, a class C felony.

 

 

 

21-year-old Justin Ray is being charged on four counts, including: one count of child endangerment resulting in serious injury, a class C felony; one count of child endangerment resulting in bodily injury, a class D felony; and two counts of willful injury causing bodily injury, a class D felony.

 

 

62-year-old Carla Bousman is being charged on five counts, including: three counts of aiding and abetting kidnapping in the first degree, a class A felony; one count of aiding and abetting child endangerment resulting in death, a class B felony; and one count of obstructing prosecution or defense, an aggravated misdemeanor.

 

 

20-year-old Josie Bousman is being charged on five counts, including: three counts of aiding and abetting kidnapping in the first degree, a class A felony; one count of aiding and abetting child endangerment resulting in death, a class B felony; and one count of obstructing prosecution or defense, an aggravated misdemeanor.
