This last week, firefighters across the country focused on fire prevention and fire safety. Fire personnel spent the week educating students and holding various programs. Tonight, the Stuart Volunteer Fire Department will close out the week with their annual French Toast Supper and Open House from 5:30-8 pm.
The meal includes french toast, sausage, and eggs. The Department will take this time to show community members their equipment and give tours of the station. Stuart Fire Chief Mike Renslow encourages the community to come see what their taxes go towards, and enjoys the opportunity to meet with residents. A free-will donation will be collected with all proceeds going to the Department.
