Jefferson Parks and Recreation is once again hosting a series of tumbling classes starting this weekend.
There will be three levels of classes offered from October 14th through November 4th. The beginners class for pre-kindergarten through six-year-olds are from 10 to 10:30am. The intermediate class will meet from 10:30 to 11:15am and the advanced class from 11:15 to noon. Nicole Friess-Schilling and Jamie Leggitt will lead each class.
First graders can be in the intermediate class, only if they have taken the beginners class before. Those in the advanced class must demonstrate that they can do an unassisted back bend.
Cost to participate is $25 for beginners and the intermediate and advanced classes are $35. Call or stop by the Greene County Community Center to sign up.
