Perry-Lutheran-Home

The next session in the Perry Lutheran Home’s Aging Well seminar series is coming on Tuesday, October 17th.

The focus of this month’s program will be “Using the Power of Personalized Music.” The PLH has been experimenting over the last year with the effect music can have on improving the quality of life for their residents, particularly those with Alzheimer’s Disease. The results have been very favorable, and now they would like to show people how to use music for their own family members. Anyone who is a spouse, child, caregiver, or friend of someone suffering in their old age is invited to attend this free seminar on how personalized music could help them.

The program will be held from 2-3 p.m. on Tuesday at the Perry Public Library. PLH Music and Memory Program Director Alyssa Poland is the featured speaker. To reserve a spot for the program, contact Poland at 515-465-5342.
