The West Central Valley Wildcats entered last night’s showdown with Van Meter a heavy underdog. Van Meter proved they are the number two team in the state, and extended their shutout streak to four games, with a 52-0 victory over the Wildcats.
The Bulldogs improve to 7-0 on the season and have clinched an automatic berth into the playoffs. The Wildcats, who allowed 17 fewer points than last year’s lost to Van Meter, fall to 2-5. Next Friday the Wildcats will host South Hamilton for the homecoming game. The Wildcats finish the season at Panorama on Friday October 20th.
