Wet weather and muddy field conditions contributed to a rough night for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers football team (1-6 overall; 0-4 Class 3A District 7). The Tigers resumed district play Friday night in Atlantic against the Trojans (4-3 overall; 2-2 Class 3A District 7). ADM recorded 89 yards of total offense as the Trojans held the Tigers scoreless, 26-0. Quarterback Matthew West accounted for 88 yards of total offense but committed three turnovers in the setback. Ethan Meyer, Gage Fuller, Cole Knoll, and Nick Bradshaw all caught two passes. Defensively, Bradshaw led the way with 13 total tackles (10 solo) while Brett Duroe added 7.5 total tackles.

Atlantic racked up 340 yards of total offense in the victory. Running backs Noah Bruckerner and Dillion Sonntag each tallied 51 rushing yards and one touchdown. Quarterback Jaxson Eden completed 16 of his 23 attempts for 196 yards and a touchdown.

The loss drops ADM’s overall record to 1-6 as the Tigers continue to search for their first on-field win of the season. They return to Adel next week for their home finale against Creston.
