Fareway stores across the state are participating in a combined effort to raise money for Variety, the Children’s Charity.

From now until October 21st, every Fareway in Iowa, including the Perry and Adel locations, will be conducting round-up fundraisers. When customers are at checkout, they will have the option to round their total up to the nearest dollar to support Variety. The charity supports underprivileged, at-risk, and special needs children. They provide funding to more than 70 charities throughout Iowa and the surrounding states for capital projects, essential medical equipment, special programming, and transportation.

Fareway reminds shoppers they don’t have to just round-up to the nearest dollar for the fundraiser, they can choose any amount they wish to donate.
