The West Central Valley cross country teams have struggled the last two invites to place in the top half of the field. At Roland-Story last Thursday, the Wildcats failed to place in the top ten. Both boys and girls finished in 11th place.
The boys finished 61 points out of the top ten. Wildcat leader Louden Foster finished in a disappointing 35th place with a time of 19 minutes and five seconds. No other Wildcat runner finished in the top 50. The girls fared a little better, finishing just 20 points behind the top ten. Senior Kari Gomez recorded the best finish for the Lady Wildcats, placing 37th with a time of 25 minutes and 42 seconds. No other Lady Wildcat eclipsed the top 50.
