A Perry High School graduate will be featured in an upcoming play at Iowa State University.

Noah Allyn, a senior at ISU in the Liberal Studies program, will be one of several students taking part in a series of monologues titled “Out of the Fire: The Banned Books Monologues.” Allyn will portray a character named Sergio in a monologue titled “Laffs with Two F’s.” The show will open next Friday in honor of National Banned Book Week. It will be performed September 29 and 30, and October 1, 6, 7, and 8. The Friday and Saturday shows will start at 7:30 p.m., while the Sunday shows will start at 2 p.m. All performances will be in the Fisher Theater in Ames.

Tickets for the performances are $18 for adults, $16 for seniors, and $11 for students. They can be purchased through Ticketmaster, at the ISU Ticket Office, or at the door before performances.
