A new business in downtown Jefferson recently held their grand opening Friday.
ShineOn Designs/More Time is located on the north side of the square and is owned by Jen Badger. She says her custom clothing screening business started in the basement of her rural Greene County home four years ago.
“About a year ago it became pretty evident that we were outgrowing the basement. So we started thinking about the transition into a larger shop space and an additional retail space. We started talking with the City and Main Street about some options for us. Then this building came up and it is the perfect fit for us.”
In addition to their regular business, Badger says they also carry Greene County Ram gear and part of the sales goes back to the Greene County Activity Ram Booster Club. She adds they will soon carry Paton-Churdan Activity Booster Club apparel and donate part of the sales back to them as well.
ShineOn Designs/More Time was the host of Jefferson Matters: Main Street’s Java and Juice program on Friday and the day was capped off by a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Greene County Ambassadors.
