Greene County fell in straight sets to Nevada in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference volleyball on the road Tuesday night. Scores were 18-25, 13-25, 10-25. Coach Donna Carhill’s Rams lost their tenth straight match and fell to 5-13 overall. The Rams are 1-2 in HOIAC action, and 12-30 in sets. Greene County is off until playing in the Roland-Story Tournament in Story City on Monday, Sept. 24.

Paton-Churdan came back from being down to sets to none to win a Rolling Valley Activities Conference match in Churdan last night vs. Ar-We-Va (Westside). Scores were 20-25, 16-25, 25-23, 25-22, 15-9. The dual meet win was the fourth this season for P-C, while Ar-We-Va fell to 4-7.
