A piece of Jewish history will make its way to Panora this Friday. Ratio Christi International will present a 350-year-old Torah scroll September 22nd from 3-6pm. The scroll will be on display for the public on the second floor of Stewart Law and Mediation, which also serves as Ratio Christi’s Panora headquarters.
The 93-foot, hand written scroll is one of a few that survived the massive destruction of Jewish artifacts during the Holocaust. The scroll is owned by Ratio Christi, and has been presented at universities and other locations across the country. There is no fee for admission and Ratio Christi President Dr. Corey Miller will also give a special presentation.
