A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint in the 1900 block of Q Avenue.
A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with locating a missing juvenile.
A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on 190th Street near K Avenue. Selena Polendo 19 of Rockwell City was operating a 2000 Buick Lesabre and lost control and went into the ditch. There was no damage to the vehicle. Selena was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
Christopher Christian 37 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for a probation violation, driving while barred, and speeding.
A deputy investigated a head on collision on 220th Street just west of E Avenue. Paul Askvig 49 of Apple Valley, Minnesota crossed the centerline and struck Paul Herrick 76 of Perry head on. Paul was arrested for operating while under the influence 1st offense and driving left of center. Paul Askvig was west bound and Paul Herrick was east bound. Paul was driving a 2010 Town and Country van. The estimated damage to the van was around 6000 dollars. Paul Herrick was driving a 2016 Prius and the vehicle was totaled. Paul Herrick and his passenger were both
transported the Greene County Medical Center with non-life- threatening injuries. Greene County EMS and Jefferson Fire responded to the scene.

Monday, September 18th
Elizabeth Christen 35 of Nevada was booked into the jail for a violation of a protective order.
A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 800 block of Eagle Street, Scranton.
A deputy investigated a civil dispute in the 400 block of 9th Street, Grand Junction.
A deputy assisted a motorist on N Avenue.
A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 300 block of North Street, Churdan.
A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on 330th Street and D Avenue. Israel Wiles 28 of Coon Rapids was turning onto D Avenue and the shoulder gave out and the 2000 Chevrolet Express van rolled onto its side in the ditch. There was an estimated amount of damage of $3000 dollars. Nobody was injured in the accident.
A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on U Avenue just south of Dana. Carol Dejong 72 of Belle Plain was southbound on U Avenue. Carol entered the west ditch and struck a culvert and then a field drive. The estimated damage to her 2010 Buick Enclave was $4000. Carol was transported to the Greene County Medical Center for minor injuries. Carol was cited for failure to maintain control. Grand Junction EMS, Greene County EMS, and Grand Junction fire responded to the scene.
A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on V Avenue and 250 th Street. Dustin Rusberg 23 of Humboldt was driving a 2000 Grand Prix that had damage. Dustin swerved to miss a deer and entered the ditch.
A deputy investigated a burglary in the 700 block of D Avenue.
A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 1000 block of Sand Street, Churdan.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
