Panorama-Panthers-Picture112Homecoming week brings an aura of excitement and school spirit. However, it can also bring mischief and excessive pranking. Panorama High School experienced the latter Monday evening when a vehicle was vandalized in the school parking lot.

The car was allegedly covered with chocolate syrup and caramel. Additional details have not been released at this time, and the departments involved are still considering disciplinary action.

Panorama School District Superintendent Shawn Holloway shared his disappointment in the incident. “Why kids think that homecoming week gives them the opportunity to vandalize is frustrating to be quite honest and extremely disappointing. I don’t think that shows the overall character of the majority of our kids.”

Panorama’s homecoming week continues tonight with the coronation of this year’s king and queen at 7:30pm in the high school auditorium. The homecoming football game kicks off at 7pm against Ogden Friday.
