The Adair County Sheriff’s Office has charged a Stuart man in connection with a domestic assault in Stuart.

Jeffrey Dean McGee, 34, was arrested by the Stuart Police Department on September 4th. McGee has been charged with a Class D Felony for his third or subsequent offense for domestic assault abuse, as well as false imprisonment. The incident occurred just after 9pm at 615 SW 7th Street in Stuart. McGee is currently in custody at the Adair County Jail where is he being held on a $5,000 cash or surety bond.
