It’ll be until next week before fans of Panorama volleyball (3-9) see the Panthers on the hardwood again. Panorama is in the middle of 12 days off in between competitions, dating back to last Thursday’s Perry High School Volleyball tournament. The Panthers earned one win in four matches, pushing their overall record to 3-9. The downtime comes during Panorama’s homecoming week, and while there’s less performance pressure, head coach Renae Follmuth says it presents other stresses.
“The other added pressure is how often are we going to get our hands on the ball, how often are we going to be on the court?” Follmuth said, “There’s a little pressure that’s taken off in regards to performance (during homecoming week), but it also puts pressure on me to make sure we are ready for next Tuesday.”
The Panthers welcome the West Central Valley Wildcats to Panorama High School Tuesday for a West Central Conference rivalry match. First serve of the varsity contest is set for 7 p.m.
