vote

Today is Election Day for school boards across the state, and the Dallas County Auditor reminds voters of their city’s polling locations.

For people in the Perry School District, they will need to vote at the McCreary Community Building. For ADM, voters can go to the Adel Public Library, the DeSoto United Methodist Church, or the Minburn United Methodist Church, depending on which city they live in. For both Perry and ADM, the polling locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. today. As a reminder, voters will vote for the school board members of the district they live in, regardless if their children open-enroll to another district.

Additionally, Dallas County is the control county for West Central Valley, and from 8-11 a.m. today, voters in the District can only cast votes at the auditor’s office in Adel. They can vote in their individual cities from noon to 8 p.m. The polling locations are Zion Lutheran Church in Dexter, the Menlo Community Building, the Redfield American Legion, and the First Congregational Church in Stuart.

Listen tonight once the polls are closed for live election results from each school in the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area.
