ADMAfter two weeks of tough non district match ups with just 7 points through 8 quarters, the ADM football Tigers eagerly await their first win.

They have a great shot a their first W this Friday as they open up district play on the road in Winterset against the Huskies. ADM enters a long standing rivalry and although the Tigers hold the eight year advantage, six wins to 2 losses, the past four years have been quite the back and forth battle. The four year battle has been more defensive in nature with no team scoring more than 17 points per game while both teams combined haven’t scored more than 30 points in each of the past four match ups. This recent four year defensive trend comes after a four year run where the winning team scored no less than 35 points each game.

ADM enters Fridays match up win-less at o-2 but showed significant improvement from week one earning just shy of 200 total yards offensively. The passing game showed great life with a 69 yard touchdown strike and 163 yards through the air, however the rushing game was still behind with 36 yards on the ground. On the flip side, Winterset rests at a 1-1 record entering Friday with a week one win over Bondurant-Farrar and a week two loss against Norwalk.

While the Tiger defense has had trouble against the ground game the Husky defense has had trouble with the passing attack allowing 338 passing yards through two games.
