There won’t be much drama for next week’s school board elections for the Perry School District, but it’s still important to know who you might be voting for.

One of the candidates for the Perry Board of Directors is current Board President Kyle Baxter. Baxter, a 2002 graduate from Perry High School, has served on the Board since 2013. He is the owner of Accujet in Perry, which he started more than a decade ago. He is running unopposed to retain his seat for another four years. Election Day for the school board will be Tuesday, September 12th. Voters in Perry can vote from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. at the McCreary Community Building.

Additionally, absentee ballots can still be cast ahead of Election Day, from now until Monday.
