IMG_1117The Guthrie County Fair wrapped up early yesterday evening after five days of fun, food, and showcases. The big change this year was the $8 admission price for those six and over. The increased admission price allowed for unlimited rides and was well received by fair-goers.

Another change to this year’s Fair was the return of the Guthrie County Fair Queen coronation to the grandstand. Seven women were finalists in this year’s competition and Chelsea Larsen was crowned the 2018 Guthrie County Fair Queen.

There were also two new buildings for exhibitions of all sorts and plenty of pork tenderloins and ice cream to go around. Raccoon Valley Radio was there all weekend with the Big Red Radio.
