Greene County head football coach Mitch Moore spoke with Raccoon Valley Radio following last Friday’s 41-7 loss at Linduska Field in Jefferson to Harlan Community. The Rams (0-2) started three seniors on offense and four on defense. A number of sophomores are either starting or seeing significant playing time this season. Rarely have Ram teams been so young.

The coach said it’s important to believe in the process. “We just have to keep working. We have to keep believing in the process, and we have to do things right off the field, and it’ll come. We played a lot of young guys again tonight, a lot of young guys.”

The task this Friday night is to find a way to upset highly rated Dallas Center-Grimes at Grimes. The 2-0 Mustangs won 10-7 over Pella last Friday, stopping a 42-game winning streak by the Little Dutch.
