The September regular meeting of the Perry School Board will kick off with a public hearing regarding an easement with Dallas County Conservation.
The easement relates to an extension of the Raccoon River Valley Trail that will cross school property. Superintendent Clark Wicks said the easement had already been agreed upon by the School Board and Conservation Board, but before it can take effect there needs to be a public hearing. Conservation Director Mike Wallace will be on hand during the meeting to answer any of the public’s questions or concerns. After the hearing, the School Board is expected to vote on the easement.
The meeting will be held on Monday, September 11th at 6 p.m. in Perry High School’s Brady Library. The public is encouraged to attend.
