A donation was recently made to benefit local students in the Greene County School District.
New Way employees and the McLaughlin Family Companies donated school supplies for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. They also donated money for the District’s Community Outreach and Interact Friendship Funds for students needs throughout the school year.
The Middle School Volunteer Club has been hard at work in their volunteer club garden. Students planted all the vegetables, maintain them and harvest the fresh produce. Items include zucchini, summer squash, corn and tomatoes. They have so much produce, they would like to share with the community. The free give-away dates are September 2nd, 16th and 30th and October 14th. Anyone can come to the middle school on those days to receive fresh produce from 8 to 9am.
