Karl’s Chevrolet in Stuart is now fully stocked and ready to sell. The only thing they need is a big Iowa welcome to the community. The Stuart Chamber of Commerce will give them that welcome.
On Friday, September 15th the Chamber will conduct an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon at Karl’s Chevrolet. This is open to the public and the community is encouraged to attend.
The Stuart Chamber will also host a general meeting September 6th at the Country Kitchen in Stuart at noon. The meeting will feature a guest speaker from the Empowering Adair County Foundation. They will be presenting information on upcoming grant opportunities for non-profit groups. The meeting is open to the public and does not require Chamber membership or pre-registration to attend.
Chamber Secretary Tiffany Johnson hopes to make the guest speaker portion of the general meeting a regular series. “It is our goal for the future to bring in different guest speakers, or businesses that excel in some area that could share their knowledge with other businesses. So we’re hoping to kind of do some outreach that way.”
