The Perry Public Works Department has announced a few road closures that could affect traffic today.
Willis Avenue between 2nd and 3rd streets will be closed starting at 10 a.m. today, so the City can install a new sculpture, the first in a series of four sculptures to be erected in the area. The process will cause both eastbound and westbound lanes to be closed, and public works expects it to take approximately two hours before Willis is back open. Additionally, due to a tree falling at Violet Hill Cemetery on the north end of town, some roads on the east side of the cemetery will be closed most of today for cleanup and removal of the tree and debris.
Anyone with questions can contact City Hall at 515-465-2481.
