The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.

The Council will consider for approval administrative services with Region XII Council of Governments for the rehabilitation of six properties from the Iowa Economic Development Authority contract, waiving a building permit for the Greene County Fair Board Association and the first reading to amend an ordinance to adopt the code of ordinances to the existing code of ordinances. Additionally, the Council will consider to hire Kyle DeMoss as a water operator, a development agreement for a new McAtee Tire facility, extending the City Administrator contract, and the second reading to amend an ordinance to increase the water and sewer rates each by three percent.

The Council will also get an update on Jefferson Matters: Main Street.

The meeting begins at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
